Doubts = cleared
I've been ranting on how bad I want to meet my vendor for both catering and décor the other day. Well fret not, I've already met him and had my doubts and questions cleared! We decided to meet at the venue itself and brought along our parents with us. It was a great discussion, coz the parents were able to clear their questions as well and were happy with the location, food and the drafted floor plan. Remember the other time when I was asked to do the sirih dara/junjung and bunga pahar, after the meet up sesh, mom said that I don't have to do it! Yay! Thanks to Uncle Lan (my vendor for both food n décor) for saying that it is all adat, and even if we wanna have them, it has to match the décor if not, it will ruin the whole look (which I totally agree). so yay for not having them for my dulangs! not a necessary item, so why put so much pressure on it right?
Can you believe that it's already a two digit countdown? I can't, I definitely can't. exactly 90 more days and I'm very sure I still have a few other things that is not done. Been procrastinating for quite some time now and I really have to get down on it soon.
Kain is already sent to the tailor's, so one item is checked off the dulang list. Since my fiancé is going to Saudi next week and have a few days to spare before he gets his work pass, I told him to look for any nice sejadah and Al-Quran for our dulang. Mana lah tau ada yang cantik-cantik punya kat sana kan.
Talking about dulang, I've yet to print the placecards. I've already did some designs and still sourcing where to print it.
Oh, the bunga rampai too! I've yet to buy the holder for it!
Let's side track a lil bit; here's me and the Mr at ROMM the other day. We've already "passed" the interview and currently can't wait to get married yo! hahaha!

I don't want to start packing my clothes/things to move to his house, not even when the date is nearing. The nearer the date is, the more I don't want to. The thought of me staying there already instantly kills me inside. What if I just can't adjust with the living environment there? What if I keep comparing the living lifestyle with my own home till I can't take it and go crazy? Why do people think that it will be alright to stay with your in-laws? They kept saying things like "ala, sekejap je tinggal setahun kat sana" "bukan lama pun satu tahun". Like hello, yang tinggal tu aku ke kau seh. Cakap memang senang but not you who go through it. And before you can say why don't rent a house instead, I would definitely love to, but after calculating the budget, we decided not to coz we still have to save up for our upcoming house. Things are not cheap nowadays, honey. I wish I could rant out more here, but just to be safe, I better not. You never know who will read this blog, and if they see I'm bitchin' bout them, I am definitely not safe.
Somehow I feel that one day I will blog about : How to live with your in-laws. :x
Do you what is sad? Going for a fitting without your fiancé. why do you have to overseas when I need you most?
xoxo,
Fiqah
